In December of 2016 I was asked to design a logo for a friend’s upcoming wedding. The couple, Trent and Rachel Dudley, wanted something simple and almost badge-like, and ultimately the above design was the end result.
The mountains above the T&R design are meant to showcase the Cascades, a mountain range located in Bend, Oregon (the hometown of the couple). Initially the design also included a river below the letters to show the Deschutes River, another landmark in Bend. You can see the river below in Alternates #1 and #2
